I suspect that Joe Public will find the combination of tinkly strings and heaving bosoms impossible to resist!

Sold!

(Oops, said that outloud, didn't I?)

Throwing money at people is dangerous, someone could get hurt, so it's evidently safer to play the guitar than to wear a hat. It's even safer to drop the money in a hat or instrument case *g*.

Joys of Busking
Dandelion Wine started out busking in Winnipeg and we landed a number of high paying gigs out of it. One was with the RCMP at an East Coast Night where we were also fed with a lobster dinner and got to take part in a "Screech Off" which made us official Newfies. Then we were asked to perform for "Tourism Canada" and "Housing for Humanity" where we performed for Jimmy Carter and his wife and they danced in front of us. So busking has it's benefits. Of course there was the time I was hit on top of the head with a coing being tossed from a balcony above us!!! Ouch!!!!

Sounds like buskers need two hats: one for money to be aimed at, and one to be worn for when it misses.
